Since the first edition was published in 1992, many new developments have occurred in the equine veterinary world. Our understanding of the diseases that affect horses is increasing all the time and we have a wide range of new and sophisticated equipment to help us make a diagnosis. The aim of this book is to bring you up to date with these developments while still presenting the information in the easy-to-read format that was popular with the first edition. Horse owners are now requesting more information so the subjects have been covered in greater depth and a broader range of topics has been included.
